Puerto Rico Democracy Act Passed The House April 30, 2010

The Puerto Rico Democracy Act passed the house yesterday.  Follow its progress at Govtrack.  As posted on the Nate Report (April 28th) this story still has not gained much attention from the main stream media.  The potential to expand our country from 50 to 51 states sounds like a big deal.  Why is there no coverage on this issue?  Why is congress in favor of presenting Puerto Rican people with 2 rounds of votes in a confusing unclear manner that would permanently determine their future once and for all?
